Well once again Addison nor Mommy is very good at blogging. I think about it often, but never seem to have the time. Christmas was amazing! Addison may not really understand the whole Santa concept, but she sure did love waking up to a living room full of gifts including her very own kitchen stove, sink, and fridge. She enjoyed the fun filled day playing with her cousins and hanging out with all of our family. Pictures are coming, we had a little scare with our computer and thought the hard drive died, but luckily it was fixable and lesson learned, BACK UP YOUR PICTURES!!!
As for other things going on with Addison, her vocabulary in on the verge of exploding (at least that is what the doctor says). She is saying Daddy, Georgie(my parents dog), and will even tell you that Santa says "Ho HO" when you ask her. She is signing a lot of things too, milk, more, please, and bath are the most common ones and she is even starting to use two signs together to communicate. She is a music lover and breaks into dancing and clapping mode as soon as she hears music. It is pretty entertaining!
Once again I sit and look at this precious little girl and wonder how I got so lucky to have such an amazing daughter. I never thought I could love someone as much as I love her!!!

Happy Turkey Day!
First and foremost- HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! We are thankful for our family, friends and most of all our precious little girl, Addison who continues to bring so much joy into our lives!
What a ham!!!! She loves having her picture taken!
Yes, still bald, getting some hair, but it is coming in very blonde so you can barely see it! People continue to call me a boy, even when I am wearing pink and I have earrings for goodness sake!!!

Well as you can see, "blogging" is not something Addison nor Mommy is good at. The last post was from Addison's birthday in JULY!!!! So what is new??? Well Mommy & Daddy bought Annual passes to Disney so we have been frequenting the parks. I am unsure about the characters, but I get really excited about everything else. We are looking forward to going to Hollywood Studios soon to see all of the Christmas lights. Speaking of lights, that was my first word, "light". I have a few select words like momma and dada and hat, but for the most part I am just babbling words that no one understands. I am using sign language as well. I sign for more and milk and bath and I am working on please. I am no longer walking, but running everywhere... Oh what fun!
I dressed up as Sophie, my beloved giraffe for Halloween and enjoyed every second of Trick or Treating with my friends; Natalee, Jonah, Emily, And Jack. I didn't get to eat any of the candy, but I sure did understand how to go to the people and stash away as much as I could in my pumpkin.
Our latest adventure was a trip to New Jersey for my Aunt Lenore's surprise birthday party. Although Mommy & Daddy were concerned about me on the plane, I did great!! Even though the flight turned into a 6 hour journey thanks to the storm that closed the airport, had us circling for 2.5 hours, and the landing in upstate NY for fuel. It was a journey for sure!!! I had Joseph and Jessica to keep me entertained for most of the journey. I had so much fun staying at Uncle Dave and Aunt Noelle's house, who just found out that Baby Henkel will be a boy! I am SO anxious to meet him! I gave them a good taste of what life would be like with a little person running around the house touching every single thing as well as climbing up and down the stairs a million times a day. I was even nice enough to wake up crying a few times a night so they could experience that. It was such a great time to be around all of my family. I sure wish I could see them more often! Guess since I did so well on the plane, I will have to go visit more often!
I ahve enjoyed being hoem with Mommy this week since she is off of work. I had a playdate with McKinley and I have been doing lots of shopping- look out Daddy, you are in trouble!!!
Now I am looking forward to Thanksgiving... I am such a good eater and I especially love my veggies! Nothing like my Daddy! Happy Turkey Day!
Stay tuned for pictures.... Mommy is working on getting more uploaded to post. We really will try to get better about blogging- I hope!!!
Much love to all, Addison Ann

Birthday Video
If you have 15 minutes to kill and are feeling like seeing a P-nut grow up right before your eyes, watch this!!! This is the video Mommy made for me on my birthday. Although I am sure our guests weren't as excited about it, Mommy & Daddy thought it was pretty special and I am sure when I get older I will love watching it!

First Birthday Pictures
Finally pictures from my party!!!! It took Mommy forever to get this done, but here they are! My birthday was a fun-filled day. Fist Mommy, Daddy, and I went out for breakfast. Then I went to school to celebrate with my friends and to give Mommy and Daddy time to get my party set up. We had dinner and a surprise birthday cake and Aunt Sandi & Uncle Craig’s that night. Saturday was the big party- 60 people were there! We had so much fun swimming, playing, and eating. I wasn’t too thrilled about the cake and icing, but I loved the singing and clapping! Thanks to everyone who celebrated with me!!!! It was a blast and although I won’t remember it, I have TONS of pictures to remember the day!
I Am Walking!
Life as Mommy & Daddy know it is over!!!! Last Sunday I decided it was time to walk and I haven't stopped yet. As a matter of fact, I am getting so good at it that I am trying to run! Mommy took some video on her camera, but once again for got to hold the camera the right way, so sorry, but the videos are sideways, so you can turn your head or your computer monitor- LOL!!! Oliver even took the opportunity to get in the video! Enjoy!

July- What a month!
Well to start, Mommy was home with me all month- what fun! We spent a lot of time shopping and getting ready for my birthday party. Then, we went on vacation with Miss Lauren, Mr. Rob, Emily &Jack to Perdidio key for a week. We had a blast! On Wednesday, Aunt Sandi, Uncle Craig, and Natalee joined us! We went to the beach, went to the zoo, and ate a lot. On our way, we stopped in Pensacola to visit my Aunt Pat, Uncle Ralph and all of my cousins. We had a delicious dinner, played a lot and even got to go on the boat and see the Blue Angels! See the pictures here:

There were waaay too many pictures of Perdido Key to post as well, so here is the website in case you want to take a look at our adventures!

The biggest news of all is that I took my first 5 steps while we were in Perdido. The funny thing is now I only take a few steps here and there. Mommy and Daddy are anxiously waiting for me to take off running. I am sure it will be any day now! Come back soon to see pictures of my First Birthday Luau. It was one big bash! Once we have pictures back from our photographer I will post them. Until then, love to you all, Addison

Heartfelt Thanks
After what seemed like a party that would never end (and trust me I was thrilled about that :)), I realized what an amazing day it was!!! Words can never express the gratitude I feel for our family and friends. Having everyone at Addison's first birthday party meant so much. Although the planning seemed to take forever and the day started out hectic, it was all worth it. So many times I looked around yesterday and thought, "we are the luckiest people in the world". We have such amazing friends and family who have been supportive of us this last year and for years prior. We are truly blessed!!!!! It was so fun to watch all the kids play together and think, so many of us have all been friends for so long and just to think our kids will grow up knowing each other is the best feeling ever! Addison is so fortunate to have 2 sets of grandparents and 2 great grandmas, not may kids can say that! With 7 cousins and over 15 friends that are all within a few years of her, she will surely never get lonely. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for everything- for the very generous gifts, for being a part of Addison's big day, and just for being who you all are! I love you guys!!!! ~Lenore
PS- Check back soon for birthday party pictures and Addison's July updates... sorry we're running behind!

Happy 4th!!!!
Well it has been almost 3 weeks since Sophie ran away from home. The good news is, her replacement arrived shortly after our return from St. Augustine. Whew, that was a close one. I was really missing her. She has a leash now so I am hoping not to lose her again (or Mommy & Daddy threatened to not replace her). We celebrated Father's Day with a lunch at Outback. We also had some pictures taken of me dressed in my Volunteer gear. Daddy really loved the pictures and I am all set for football season. I think I will wear the tutu for sure!
My first 4th of July was a great time. We went to Aunt Jacquie & Uncle Andy's and swam in pool. Of course Mommy had to dress me in patriotic outfits and I know you were all expecting something crazy for a picture, but the best we could come up with was me sitting in front of the fireworks that we bought. Needless to say I was long asleep when they were lit. Oh well, maybe next year. I had a great time swimming in the pool and playing with my friend Natalee.

Things have been busy in our house the last week. Mommy has been home from work and busy planning my first birthday, which is right around the corner. It is sure to be a blast! We are also getting ready to go to Perdido Key on vacation with Miss Lauren, Mr. Rob, Emily, and Jack. I can hardly wait! I am also going to visit my 2nd cousins in Pensacola on our way. I am going to try to be on my best behavior for the very long car ride we have. I am sure I will just sleep the whole trip. Not much else going on. I am weighing in at 18lbs and still just 2 teeth and of course very bald still... Perhaps by my 2nd birthday I will have some hair! Pictures coming soon.... In the meantime, click here to check out how good I can play peek a boo!

Sophie Come Home!
As some of you know, this is my favorite giraffe ever- her name is Sophie. Mommy and Daddy gave her to me on Valentines Day. She is from France, laugh as you will, I am just telling you the truth. Well today Mommy and I went to St. Augustine with Miss Krissy & Miss Jerri. We were walking along and all of a sudden Mommy realized Sophie was gone. We went back and retraced everywhere we had been, but no luck. She is gone, I am sad. But not to worry, Mommy came home and has already ordered me a new one. This time she said she would be smarter and get her a "leash" also known as a pacifier holder. That way if I do decide to chuck her out of the stroller, she won't go far. Sophie has now moved to St. Augustine with another family and I will miss her greatly. The good news is we had a blast in St. Augustine and ate a delicious lunch at Columbia where I spent most of the time waving at everyone who walked by. Yes, sometimes I do believe that I am a celebrity. So off I go to wait patiently for my new Sophie.....Thursday, June 11, 2009
10 months and Mommy is sad....
Addison normally writes, but tonight it is Mommy. As I put my little peanut down to bed tonight, tears just welled up in my eyes. Where have the past 10 months gone? We are in full 1st birthday party planning mode and it just seems unreal. She is growing and changing everyday and I can hardly imagine this little tiny baby is getting so big- so fast. Yes, everyone warns you about how time flies, but you can't believe it till it happens to you. I made a special trip to Barnes & Noble today to pick up a journal. I wanted to do this for so long (since I got pregnant) and kept putting it off and here it is 10 months gone and no journal. I am making a promise to myself and Addison that I will keep up with it at least a few times a week..

I can save myself!
This had been a busy month! I have been going to Infant Swimming Resource and after just 4 weeks of lessons, I can save myself! I worked very hard going to Miss Janet's house every day, 5 days a week for 10 minutes each day. It was a lot of work for me and Mommy, but we got through it and now I know what to do if I fall in a pool or any kind of water. Besides that, I am pulling up and standing every chance I get. I even let go every once in a while so Mommy and Daddy are expecting me to take off walking anytime now. Just 2 more months till my 1st birthday- wow! This year has flown by! Enjoy the pictures and the video. Feel free to contact Mommy if you are interested in this program. We can't say enough amazing things about Miss Janet. She was kind, patient, and very knowledgable. I can't wait to go back for my refresher and swimming lessons next year!

This month brought more milestones, I stood up at school for 10 seconds all by myself, I started to clap, and I started ISR swimming lessons. I am learning how to save myself just in case I ever fall in a pool. I went to Gram's retirement celebration and celebrated Mommy's first Mother's Day in Palm Coast. Grandpa rented a hotel room and we got to swim all day and had a bbq. I LOVE the pool! I am looking forward to the school year ending so I can spend lots of time with Mommy. Here are a few pictures from this month. After I finish my swimming lessons this week, Mommy is going to post pictures and hopefully video too. Love to all...Addison

Parade day at school!
We recently switched schools from Star Child to Little Pros Academy and we are all LOVING it! My new school is right across the street from Daddy's work, so he sometimes comes over and visits me. On Monday we had a parade. My class' theme was Hawaiian as you can see, we wore leis. Another exciting this is my friend Natalee is going to be starting on Monday! We are going to be in the same class and our cribs are right next to each other. I did promise Mommy and Aunt Sandi that we wouldn't fool around too much because nap time is important (at least that is what they say).
Since none of us can walk yet, we rode in cribs in the parade. A had a lot of fun, but I am still wondering why oh why can't Mommy and Daddy can't push me around in my crib at home?!

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to wish you a Happy Easter! We are at Grandma and Grandpa's house celebrating. I hunted for eggs with Joseph and Jessica this morning and have been enjoying the books and toys the Easter Bunny left me. Here are my most recent pictures. Can you believe I am already 8 months old?! I am crawling and pulling up on things. I also have 2 teeth! Hope you have a great bunny day! Love to all!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Month 7
Here I am 7 months old and celebrating my first St. Patrick's Day. Mommy has family reading Night at her school so I will be joining her and listening to a special St. Patrick's Day story. I've had yet another busy month and have hit a few more milestones. I am eating green beans now in addition to my oatmeal, sweet potatoes, and acorn squash. After several tries with peas, I still don't like them. I gag every time Mommy feeds them to me. Mommy said that zucchini and bananas are next on my list to try! I am still working on trying to crawl. I can get on all 4 and rock, but haven't figured out how to move. I keep watching the kids at school and I know someday soon I will figure it out! I have also now figured out how to get from my back to all fours and sit myself up- what fun! Mommy & Daddy had to lower my crib mattress this weekend so I don't fall out as I try to pull myself up from sitting now. I went to Universal this month and also went on my first boat ride with Uncle Craig, Aunt Sandi, and Natalee. I absolutely LOVED it! I even brought Sophie the giraffe with me. So all is well in my little world. I am glad you are all still reading and keeping up with me. Hope to see you soon!

Sunday, February 22, 2009
Well here we are almost the end of February- I will be 7 months old- WOW! Mommy had Presidents Day off from work, so we met Carrie & McKinley at Leu Gardens for story time and a picture. Carrie took this picture of me and McKinley and Mommy's friend Julie added the captions. They both thought it was really funny. As you can see bald is still the look I am sporting. A few strands are starting to grown and it looks like I may have light hair, but only time will tell. I have progressed in the food department. I am eating cereal (oatmeal is my favorite) and I have also had sweet potatoes and peas. Mommy has been making my food, so I do my best to try to like it. Tonight's encounter with peas was not the best though. Maybe I will try them again and like them. I went to McKinley's First Birthday which was a blast and also celebrated Grandma's Birthday with her the same day! Valentine's Day was also a new adventure. Mommy, Daddy, and I met Aunt Sandi, Uncle Craig and Natalee for lunch and a day at Lake Eola. We also went to the History Center which proved to be the most fun for Daddy & Uncle Craig (what nerds)! we met Aunt Stacey and Mommy in Daytona yesterday for lunch and shopping. Mommy and Daddy's 3rd Wedding Anniversary is this Wednesday so Aunt Jacquie will be coming over to watch me and I can't wait. I promise to be on my best behavior. I had a doctors appointment and I am growing like a weed still. I am 15.5 lbs (35th percentile), 26 1/4" long (70th percentile), and my head is 17 1/4"! The doctor said I am doing great! I had 3 more shots, but was very brave and only cried briefly. I love you all and thanks for reading my Blog! I hope you enjoy this month's pictures.

5 Months Gone By....
So Mommy has not been very good about keeping up with posts, but I am sure you will be impressed when you see the video of pictures she has created! So here is what has been going on since Christmas... Aunt Stacey came to visit and we went out to Disney for dinner where we met up with Lori and Dan who were visiting from NJ. I also went to my friend Jonah's 2nd Birthday Party. It was a great time! I also got my very first ear infection and had to stay home from school for 2 days- bummer! I learned how to roll from my back to my belly and I have pretty much mastered sitting up all by myself. I am trying to eat cereal without a whole lot of success, but I am working on it. Mommy's birthday was in January so we celebrated by having a picnic at the park with Daddy, Grandma, Aunt Lisa, Aunt Laura, Joseph & Jessica. Then Gram watched me while Mommy and Daddy went out to dinner. I was especially well behaved. I turned 6 months old on January 31st and I am sure February will be another month of milestones and fun! Stay tuned! iw ill try very hard to remind Mommy to keep posting!

Disney Fun
Aunt Noelle & Uncle Dave were here visiting from NJ so we went to Epcot and to Downtown Diney. I had a great time seeing them. Mommy & Daddy said we may even go to NJ to see them this summer. If we do, I will get to go on an airplane! How fun!

My First Christmas
What an event it was! We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house and you'll never believe it, but Santa actually came by! He brought us 1 gift each then urged us to get to sleep so he could come back with more. He wasn't kidding either. When we woke up the next morning, there were tons of gifts!

After opening gifts, Mommy, Daddy, and I headed to MaMa and PaPa's house for breakfast. I got to visit with all of my cousins including Lilly. Then it was back to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner. We sure did travel a lot! Christmas night wasn't much fun for Mommy, Daddy, Jessica, and Grandpa. They all got some kind of bug and were sick all night long. Gram stayed an extra day to care of me while they all rested and got better. Mommy and I stayed the weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's. Mommy and Grandma took some pictures of me out in the yard. I am working very hard trying to sit up on my own and with the help of the grass, I did it!

Did I mention I am drooling a ton?! Maybe some teeth are on their way!
Jessica, Joseph, and me with Santa!

Me opening my stocking. There were some toys in there and my very first pair of diamond earrings from Daddy! How exciting!

My favorite present by far is Glo Worm. I love her so much! Grandma bought her for me because when I came home from the hospital and I was on the Billy Blanket for my jaundice, she said I looked like Glo Worm all swaddled in my green blanket.
